Representative democracy

When our rep goes to work they prepare themselves for the day's agenda. This includes which bills are to be debated that day.

There is an opportunity before the next general election to demonstrate how our representative could engage with us to develop a dialogue in which they:

• inform us about the proposed actions of the parliament and
• receive feedback from us in the form of a poll result giving the rep a clear direction for the actions they take on our behalf.
